We have a project to deliver three fire appliances from Sussex to Macedonia. We will be leaving the UK to drive the vehicles through Europe the 22nd or 23rd September. On arrival we will deliver refresher training on ladders, pumps, road traffic collisions and breathing apparatus before flying back to Luton UK on the 29th or 30th September.
Loading of the vehicles with donated equipment ready for the journey will take place on the weekend 17th – 18th September.
The vehicle drivers need to be Operation Florian Members for insurance purposes and able to meet the following requirements:
Current LGV Class 2 Certificate and Clean licence.
Received both Covid 19 Jabs.
Be C19 Negative by PCR Test before flying.
Be available to travel between the 22nd to 29th of September.
Have a current Passport
Ideally the driver/trainers would be available to assist with the loading of the vehicles on the 17th/18th so they can be familiar with the equipment.
Please note that this project may be postponed should there be a change in travel restrictions between now and the departure date due to covid 19.
If you are interested and available to support this project, even if it is just with the loading aspect, please contact Roy Barraclough on mobile 07793 721615
