Three members of Operation Florian travelled from Lancashire to Cleveland to collect two fire appliances kindly donated by Cleveland Fire Brigade
CFO Ian Hayton is pictured here handing over the keys of two Dennis Excalibur vehicles that have just come out of service. The donation was accepted by Operation Florian members and serving Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service personnel Barry Meadows, Al Pearson and Pat Barlow. On completion of the hand over they were driven by the team to Lancashire to prepare for shipping to Africa in the coming months.
Operation Florian is extremely grateful for the generous donation of these vehicles. They will continue to play a vital part in protecting communities overseas.
